The source of the Bengali word Fazlamo or Fajlamo

The Bengali word “fajlamo” or “fazlamo”is usedt very often when someone comments and gives unsolicited opinion in front of Elders.

The act of giving unsolicited opinion in front of Elders is termed as Fazlamo – Fajlamo.

The person giving unsolicited opinion in front of Elders is termed as Fazil.

Example: AAr fajlamo korte hobe na- Dont be silly.

It seems that the word Fazil has come from Arabic(see reference) which means superior.
